We visited Indiya Restaurant in Bedford last weekend, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience! Right from the moment we walked in, the service was amazing – warm, friendly, and very professional. The place looked very posh, neat, and clean, with a lovely interior that made us feel we were somewhere special. One of the nicest surprises was when they brought us a complimentary bowl of dal tadka – such a sweet gesture, and it was full of flavour too! We ordered a mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. The veg dishes were absolutely delicious – every bite felt like a treat. The non-veg was good too, though we personally liked the veg options more. But the real star of the evening? The tandoori roti – fresh, soft, and just perfect! We had a lovely time overall. This place is definitely worth visiting if you're in Bedford!
We love Indiya! It’s our go-to place in Bedford whenever we’re in the mood for Indian food. The food is always spot on — my husband and I usually go for the lamb dishes and they’re always cooked perfectly. I’m not great with really spicy food, but they’re always happy to make it milder for me, which is a big plus. We often go as a family, including our 2-year-old and my vegan mother-in-law, and it’s always a great experience. They’re super accommodating — they’ll cook something special for her if needed, and there are plenty of veggie options too. And we’ve never had any issues bringing our toddler; they’re really welcoming and make us feel right at home. The service is always lovely, friendly, and relaxed. Honestly, we can’t fault it. We’ll definitely keep going back!
Fantastic family run restaurant in the heart of Bedford. Great food with a wide selection of traditional dishes as well as lots of other options. Service was impeccable and all the staff super friendly and welcoming. Lovely atmosphere and overall my family and I had a lovely evening.
Had a wonderful meal tonight with 8 other satisfied diners. Great choice on menu and food was delicious. Robbie our waiter was very attentive and had excellent customer service throughout evening. Definitely going back soon. Thank you for a lovely evening.

We had a team Christmas meal here for Janssens Pharmacy, what an amazing atmosphere, staff are really polite, very helpful and must admit the atmosphere and amazing decor are to die for. Can't leave without mentioning just how amazing the food was as well. Well done to all the amazing staff and thank you so much for making it an unforgettable night. Will definitely recommend this place to all I know.
